maradns

Leichtgewichtige Alternative zu BIND.

Folgende Einstellungen muss man in /etc/maradns/mararc vornehmen, alle anderen können auf den Standardwerten (debian sarge) bleiben.
# The various zones we support

# We must initialize the csv1 hash, or MaraDNS will be unable to
# load any zone files
csv1 = {}

# This is just to show the format of the file
csv1["test.dns."] = "db.test.dns"
#csv1["57.168.192.in-addr.arpa."] = "db.192.168.57"

# The address this DNS server runs on. If you want to bind
# to all addresses a given machine has, use "0.0.0.0".
bind_address = "127.0.0.1"
....

Die zugehörige db.test.dns sieht dann z.B. folgendermassen aus:
Stest.dns.|86400|dns1.test.dns.|postmaster@dns1.test.dns.|2004061301|10800|1800|3600000|259200
Ntest.dns.|86400|dns1.test.dns.
Adns1.test.dns.|86400|192.168.57.4
Amail.test.dns.|86400|192.168.57.5
Ahostname.test.dns.|86400|192.168.57.6
Cwww.test.dns.|86400|hostname.test.dns.
@test.dns.|86400|10|mail.test.dns.
